Size Guide

Finding the right fit is important to us. Use the measurements below to find your perfect size. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit.

How to Measure

For the most accurate measurements, use a soft measuring tape and measure over your undergarments:

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, about 20cm below your natural waist.
  • Length: Measure from the top of your shoulder down to where you'd like the garment to end.

Mary Top and Mary Deng's journey began in South Sudan, carried them through refugee camps in Ethiopia, and eventually brought them home to Ballarat. As migrants in a new country, they quickly understood what it meant to feel unseen — to have skills, dreams, and so much to offer, yet struggle to find their place.

So they created their own.

Starting with a sewing machine in their garage, Mary and Mary began crafting something beautiful. Not just aprons and handmade treasures, but a space where women like them could thrive. Where heritage isn't hidden but celebrated. Where every stitch carries a story of resilience, hope, and the unshakeable belief that together, anything is possible.

“We refused to be invisible. And now we're helping others shine.” — Mary Top & Mary Deng

Today, they're not just business owners. They're mentors, dreamers, and proof that your past doesn't define your future — it enriches it.

When you step into Women of the Well, you're not just meeting two entrepreneurs. You're meeting two women who refused to be invisible, and who are now helping others do the same.

Every piece you purchase carries that spirit with it — a thread of resilience, a stitch of hope, and a celebration of where we come from and where we're going.

Welcome to our story. We're so glad you're here.
