Returns & Refund Policy

At Women of the Well, we want you to shop with confidence. We take pride in the quality of our products and want every customer to enjoy their purchase.

We understand that sometimes an item may not be quite right. Our Returns & Refund Policy is designed to be simple, fair and transparent for both our customers and our business.

Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind, select the wrong size or decide an item is not quite right for you, you may request an exchange or store credit within 14 days of receiving your online order or making your in-store purchase.

To be eligible, the item must be:

  • Unworn, unused and unwashed
  • In its original condition
  • Returned with all original tags attached
  • Free from makeup, perfume, deodorant, marks, damage or alterations
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

For change-of-mind purchases, we do not offer cash refunds. Eligible returns will receive an exchange or store credit.

All returns are subject to inspection and approval.

Exchanges

We are happy to offer an exchange on eligible items, subject to stock availability.

If your preferred size, colour or style is unavailable, we may provide store credit for the amount originally paid for the returned item.

Sale & Clearance Items

Sale and clearance items are final sale for change-of-mind purchases and are not eligible for exchange or store credit.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty or otherwise does not meet a consumer guarantee.

Hair, Beauty & Hygiene Items

For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on earrings or hair and beauty products that have been opened or used.

This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

We carefully check our products and want you to receive your order in excellent condition.

If you believe an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, significantly different from its description or otherwise does not meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Online Returns

Please contact us before returning any item.

For approved change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return postage costs. Original shipping charges are not refundable for change-of-mind purchases.

We recommend using a tracked postage service when returning an item, as we cannot be responsible for parcels that are lost in transit before reaching us.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will contact you regarding your exchange or store credit.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, exchange or store credit, please contact us within the applicable return period.

  • Your full name
  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • Details of the item you wish to return
  • The reason for your return
  • Clear photos if the item is faulty or damaged

Please do not send an item back before contacting us and receiving return instructions.

We aim to respond to return enquiries within 2 business days.

So they created their own.

Starting with a sewing machine in their garage, Mary and Mary began crafting something beautiful. Not just aprons and handmade treasures, but a space where women like them could thrive. Where heritage isn't hidden but celebrated. Where every stitch carries a story of resilience, hope, and the unshakeable belief that together, anything is possible.
